President's Message

Dear WGSL Coaches and Parents,

As the season quickly approaches, we would like everyone(coaches, parents, players and fans) to be informed as to some important WGSL policies.  We ask that everyone reviews the policies below, as well as take the time to visit the WGSL website for the official WGSL Code of Conduct.

  • We ask that parents, fans, siblings and pets refrain from walking on to the field during practice and/or games.  Head and Assistant Coaches, along with volunteers that have cleared a background check are the only adults permitted on the field during practices and games.
  • We also ask that parents, fans, and siblings sit in the bleachers during games and practices.  They are not permitted to sit on or near the players’ benches.
  • Drinking alcohol during games and practices is prohibited and will result in immediate ejection from the field.
  • There is a strict “NO SMOKING” policy at ALL Colonial School District grounds and Whitemarsh Township Fields.  You may not smoke on CSD property, however, you may smoke in the parking lot at the Township Fields.

In order to insure the health, well-being and safety of our girls, it is up to us to police ourselves. Let’s do a great job!

Thank you,

Megan O’Rourke

President, WGSL
